OKAY, so scratch that I ever said Bookah was a TB! He's NOT! He's a Morgan! Idk HOW I got that mixed up...probably since I only got to see his head yesterday. But today...I went back again...and I got to brush him!!!! YAY!!!!

He was a complete gentleman when I went into his stall and put his halter on. I had held the halter down..and he
lowered his head for me!!! So then I clipped the lead-rope on and led him out- he's eager to walk and was curious to know where we were going. I had to pull him back a bit before he walked right past the cross-ties! He really thought he was going somewhere! lol

I clipped the cross-ties on, and besides the flies biting him, he was perfect on them! I managed to find his itchy-spot. Oddly enough it's not on his chest like a lot of horses I know. It's the normal spot, right behind or on his shoulder-blade. Tara's mom took a picture of me brushing him at that time. I got it in an email, and if you want me to, I'll put it up.
Katie is going to help schedule a time for me to ride him! He's really a sweet horse, and I feel such a huge connection with him that it's not even funny. He seems to take a bit of a liking to me, too, but that's his personality I believe. Either way, if I spend more time with him I think it'll work out and we'll be best buds, in the saddle, and out of it.

I have the picture of us as my comp. background.
